We set the date for our beach clean up (sponsored by Gumbo Limbo) on Saturday, December 2nd from 9am-3pm (6 hours of community service).

I not only informed them about Turkey’s DEKAMER- Sea Turtle Research, Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre- Wildlife Reserve in Dalyan, but I also gave them brochures, information cards, etc. that I had purchased from my visit there.  

I am proud to say that I created an international connection with these two amazing organizations.

I also donated 100 copies of my newly published book, "Protecting Sea Turtles" to Gumbo Limbo.  All the proceeds from the book go to Gumbo Limbo’s rehabilitation center.
