Dear Club Members, 

As you know, we had a beach cleanup on Saturday, December 2nd.  Because of the SAT, some of our members were unable to attend.  I would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Glick and Mme. Callahan for coming to our beach cleanup! I would like to thank Gumbo Limbo for sponsoring the beach cleanup, Mr. Agapay for organizing the shuttle for the resident students, and my parents for helping out.  Lastly, I would like to thank all the members who attended.

First, we all met around 8:30am at the Palmetto Beach circle. We had a registration desk set up with our club t-shirts so that as our members arrived, they could sign in and get their club shirts.  Then, we had some food and drinks for breakfast.  We put on our club shirts and officially started the cleanup around 9:15am.  We went one way and cleaned up the beach until 11:30am.  Then, we took a break and ate some pizza for lunch.  During that time, because there was a zumba class going on, so we joined for about 15 minutes.  We especially had a lot of fun during the zumba class. Then, around 12:30am, we started to clean up the other side of the beach.  We ended the beach cleanup around 3pm.  Even though it was really windy, we had lots of fun.
